Desired Profile:

Bachelor degree graduate of any four or five year allied health courses (i.e. nursing, physical therapist, biology, etc.) with above average English communication skills (oral and written).

You must possess a minimum of 1-year work experience in editing medical reports according to client specifications.

Brief Job Description:

A positive team player who will be responsible in transcribing medical reports at a minimum of 98% quality level and be able to transcribe a minimum of 500 lines/day consistently within 30 days of joining on Chartnet/Eglobal/Apex platforms that are currently used at Acusis Phlippines.

Acusis will expect the candidate to graduate to directly delivery a minimum of 300 lines/day to customer within 90 days of joining.

Prior Speech-recognitiion editing experience will be highly preferred.

  • Uses available or assigned system/s in encoding exactly what has been dictated by the doctor or as mentioned on the voice file
  • Submits accomplished reports to the system for editing/proofreading unless allowed to distribute the reports directly to the client
  • Listens to audio file using an earphone to transcribe the report and must have an excellent auditory skill to be able to interpret sounds and accents of the dictator
  • Ability to type at least 35 words per minute in order to achieve the required minimum daily lines
  • Knowledgeable in researching (using the internet and reference materials) for unfamiliar words or terminologies mentioned in the voice file
  • Can work in any shifting schedules and render overtime when needed
  • Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
